Designed as a holding ring with three pins that fit into the openings of the harmonic balancer.
Use with a 1/2" Drive socket bar to hold harmonic balancer in place when tightening or loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt. Also used to hold the balancer when removing it from the engine.
