GM eliminated the tapped holes in the steering wheel boss on late model cars and vans, making these puller legs the only way to remove the wheel without damage.
They are used with T&E Steering Wheel Pullers item '9508' or 'J7793' to get behind the steering wheel boss to give a straight, even pull.
