The soft cutting action of Union Honing Brushes is obtained using premium silicon carbide abrasive balls (points). They are self-centering, and self aligning, and self compensating as the silicon carbide balls wear down over time.
Union Cylinder Honing Brushes offer many benefits for cylinder finishing, including lower oil consumption (the cross-hatch pattern produced by the Honing Brush creates an "oil holding" pattern) , lower friction and improved surface sealing. Perfect deburring of cross drilled holes is also an easy and in-expensive process.

Sizes from 7.2mm through to 120.6mm are available, for finishing cylinder bore diameters from 6.3mm to 116mm. Grit range is 120, 180 and 240 Grit in all diameters.
Union recommend to always use a high quality honing oil with a Cylinder Honing Brush, and if using in a power drill, always start at a very low speed.
