Ideal for e.g. the electrical, motor, comm. vehicle, plumbing, constr. sectors

Pliers for three areas of work: gripping, positioning and cutting

The 25 05 140 pointed needle nose pliers from Knipex combine several functions and qualities.

They are suitable for the fine, measured gripping of components and for the powerful cutting of cable and wire.

Their cutting edges are shaped to produce a bite type cut. The cutting edges are additionally induction hardened to approx. 61 HRC, which is why soft wire (copper wire), medium-hard wire (fence wire) and even hard wire (wire rope fibre) can be efficiently cut using the Knipex 25 05 140.

The pliers also remain stable also when twisting and during powerful cutting

The precision tips of the Knipex needle nose pliers forged from vanadium electric steel are elastic and therefore stable when twisted. This enables users to measure the optimal amount of manual force used.

Larger components can be held securely, while smaller components can be gripped gently using the right amount of force.

The position of the cutting edges close to the joint helps transmit manual force to the material. The effort required for cutting is correspondingly low.

Work well even in confined spaces

Because the Knipex 25 05 140 is tapered at the front, it is possible to reach and grip components where space is restricted. This is the case, for example, when repairing electrical equipment or during installation work in the plumbing sector. These slim needle nose pliers are a welcome tool amongst craftsmen and fitters, whether for work on printed circuit boards in rework processes or assembly work during house installations. With their multi-component grips, the pliers sit extremely comfortably in the hand.
