Extremely user-friendly: precision requiring little time and effort
Intuitively achieve professional crimping results.
A great deal of experience is required when crimping non-insulated cable lugs and connectors. Normally. The Knipex 97 52 23 crimping pliers enable professional, electrically safe connections even without prior knowledge. With these crimping pliers, the user has a tool that intuitively helps him do everything right. The crimping pressure is set to the ideal level in the factory – and can be adjusted.
Non-insulated cable lugs and connectors are reliably crimped to conductors in the precision-machined crimp profiles. The integral lock, which can be released where necessary, ensures that the pliers only open on reaching the crimping pressure set in the factory.
Leverage principle applied twice: 30 % less effort required
With the Knipex 97 52 23, up to 30 % less effort is required compared to conventional crimping pliers. The reason for this is applied physics. The leverage principle is used twice here. The handles on the crimping pliers are shaped to produce a very long lever arm. Special leverage is also integrated in the crimping pliers, so that even a low level of manual force gets to the connector in a well reinforced and carefully measured way. The user can produce stable connections from conductors and crimp connectors with little time and effort.
This is how it is done: three hand movements to produce a professional crimp connection
After inserting a non-insulated cable lug or cable connector, the lower handle is firstly pulled up using two fingers until both jaws are resting on the cable lug or cable connector to be crimped, thereby fixing it in the crimp profile. After inserting the stripped cable, the crimping operation is conducted in a second step. Large cross-sections can also be crimped safely and conveniently. If one hand is not enough, you can easily work with both hands. The handles are long enough for two-handed operation. All of these properties are made to last, because the pliers are manufactured from high-grade chrome vanadium electric steel – according to Knipex quality criteria.
