Crimping Pliers Overview

Crimping is high-precision work. Crimp profile and crimping pressure must be precisely matched to the connectors and cable used to create a connection that is permanently mechanically and electrically safe and secure. The Knipex PreciForce all have a light, compact design with toggle lever reinforcement of manual force and precision crimp profile. The result: ideal, hand-friendly amount of pressure is exerted with precision on the connector being connected to the cable– even with much repeated crimping.

With the Knipex PreciForce, the user can concentrate completely on crimping because the pliers do the job of measuring manual force for him, ensuring the optimal crimping pressure. The crimping pressure of the pliers is optimally set (calibrated) in the factory to the heat shrinkable sleeve connector. The integral lock blocks premature opening of the pliers before the set upper limit has been achieved using hand pressure. The pliers open automatically only on reaching the preset crimping pressure. The integral lock can be released manually, and the crimping pressure can be adjusted if need be.
