Special jaws design for removal and installation of the fuel tank locking ring. To remove or replace fuel pump retaining rings:

Loosen lock nut on tool and adjust length of tool so slots in ears fits over teeth in plastic ring. Tighten lock nut and loosen or tighten plastic ring using a 3/8" extension and ratchet wrench.
