Gm / Opel Diesel Engine Setting Locking Kit

For vehicles without this type of sump pan, use the flywheel TDC setting tool. Secure the tool to the bell housing with the marker point bent in towards the flywheel ring gear.

Align the TDC mark on the flywheel with pointer. On vehicles from 1998 on, the injection pump locking pin is required as part of the procedure.

With the TDC set up, pass the locking pin through the hole in the timing pump gear and locate it.
